It’s difficult to give love a definition. After all it can be unrequited, lost, secret or even forbidden.
Moncrieff Entertainment Centre’s must-see Season 2019 event I Want to Know What Love Is throws a spotlight on long-buried memories, crushes and conquests. It’s s performance about love based on the stories and experiences of real people.
Share your confessions, declarations and memories to show love as it is; with all its warts and roses, in all its bittersweet and cringe-worthy glory.
Acclaimed Queensland performance collective The Good Room asked members of the public to anonymously submit their stories of love – fragments and memories, confessions and admissions – and they’ve transformed those secret submissions into magnificent declarations centre stage.
But it’s not too late to have yours included in the Bundaberg show. Submissions are now open at wewantyourlove.com.
Short and sweet, lengthy or sour, show producers The Good Room want to hear from you. Pen that love letter. Write the telephone conversation you can’t have. Whisper that secret moment (you know the one). Or maybe just reveal their name.
All submissions are anonymous and treated with care.
I Want To Know What Love Is will be at the Moncrieff on March 9, book your tickets now at moncrieff-bundaberg.com.au.
