If you saw the movie Aquaman did you notice the Bundaberg Rum sign in one of the scenes?
Yesterday we reported how the iconic Bundaberg distillery is striding the world stage with the likes of Lamborghini, BMW, Boeing, IKEA and Lego thanks to the Megafactories series on SBS.
An eagle-eyed reader contacted us to point out that Bundy Rum also went global recently in Aquaman — the American superhero film based on the DC Comics character of the same name.
It stars Jason Momoa as the title character, who appears in the scene with Bundaberg's famous beverage in the background.
The film was released in December and has grossed more than $1.6 billion at the box office.
