The world’s longest-running musical Les Misérables makes a triumphant return to the stage in Bundaberg, 25 years after first being performed by Bundaberg Players Incorporated.

Bundaberg Players artistic director Rebecca Hutchins said there are remarkable performances by some very talented actors and musicians.

“As a company we are all very excited to breathe life into this well-known production,” Rebecca said.

“We can’t wait to hit the stage and entertain Bundaberg audiences once again.”

Featuring a live orchestra comprising some of the region’s finest musicians and a cast of more than 60 actors and vocalists, this intensely moving and emotionally charged production is sure to sell out quickly for the six performances opening on Friday, 29th March.

“We urge people to get in quickly to book, as tickets are selling fast,” Rebecca said.

“After our production of Wicked was a sellout two years ago in our own theatre we knew that the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre was the ideal place to mount such a massive and professional production.”

This new production of Boublil and Schonberg’s Les Miserables is licensed exclusively by Music Theatre International (Australasia) and Cameron Mackintosh Ltd.

Evening performances will be held on March 29 and 30; and April 5 and 6 at 7.30pm, with matinees on Saturday. March 30 and Saturday. April 6 at 2pm.
