Police officers meet all sorts of characters in their role serving the community.
According to Gin Gin Police, one of the perks of being a country officer is dealing with all sorts of farm yard friends when working in a rural community.
Sergeant Sharon Morgan, Officer in Charge of Gin Gin Police Station recently attended a property to assist a member of the community, when she was confronted with an overly friendly horse.
Apparently the horse took a real shine to Sergeant Morgan and insisted on a bit of “horsing around”.
Sergeant Morgan said this encounter was a much more agreeable one than a past run in with an animal – a snake at the Gin Gin Police Station.
