The annual showcase of the Bundaberg Region’s diverse range of fresh produce and mouth-watering treats will be on display at the Bundy Flavours event.

Producers, creators, chefs and brewers are being called on to show the region to its best advantage at the event on July 6 with expressions of interest for stallholders now open.

Bundaberg Regional Council Community and Cultural Services portfolio spokesperson Cr Judy Peters said the annual farmers markets was the ideal place for local businesses to reach thousands of residents and visitors.

“Bundy Flavours continues to grow in popularity each year as the region’s one stop shop for fresh produce and local goodies,” Cr Peters said.

“Join us to celebrate our salad bowl status by highlighting the vast array of local produce.”

Cr Peters said the 2018 event featured 65 stalls showcasing everything from sweet potatoes and strawberries to honey and smoked fish.

The farmers markets will be held in conjunction with the popular Bundy Flavours cooking demonstrations featuring a range of local and celebrity chefs.

Bundy Flavours will be held on Saturday 6 July in 2019 from 7am to 2pm.
