Spargo Brothers give the best of both

Get ready, the Bundy Gig Guide is gearing up to share a huge weekend of live music!

This week’s guide features a fantastic list of bands and musicians who are ready to give you one hellevua show, including popular musos, the Spargo Brothers.

The Spargo Brothers are both a band of two and a band of four, and this weekend you can get the best of both with the full band pumping out all of your favorite pub rock tunes.

The group will be at the South Kolan Hotel on Friday night and then in their unplugged duo format at the Spotted Dog Tavern on Saturday.

Singer and guitarist Tim Spargo said the band first came about in 1999 when his brother had lost his voice before an upcoming solo gig.

“Ben said I could bring my guitar and with some convincing I helped out for a gig at the Jindalee Tavern”, he said.

“We played to only 20 or 30 people but after I knew it was something I wanted to do”, and so the Spargo Brothers was formed.

The Spargo Brothers are a tightknit group who love being flexible on stage. Looking to please and read their audience have a massive repertoire of awesome songs and always get everyone’s toes tapping.

“Our favorite part of performing is seeing the audience enjoy the music we are playing and having fun,” Tim said.

“It’s great to spend time with my brother and good mates and have fun.

“My brother and band mates are all really talented and can all play multiple instruments.”
