A morning walk at Mon Repos Beach became a triple treat for Bundaberg couple Cynthia Hoogstraten and Dave Walters today when they saw a loggerhead turtle, hatchlings and a kookaburra in one magical scene.
“I wanted to get up early and go for a walk on the beach,” Cynthia told Bundaberg Now.
“I didn't go to Mon Repos in the hope of seeing turtles, but it was a special treat, especially with the kookaburra joining in.”
Cynthia labelled the video “Morning Gratitude Mon Repos” on YouTube.
She noted “the kookaburra missed out on its breakfast this morning” after failing to feast on a hatchling.
