A Quota Club bus trip to Eumundi Markets will help raise funds to help women and children in domestic violence situations.

Quota Club of Bundaberg publicity officer Jas Haster said the organisation was a local service which predominantly supports disadvantaged women and children as well as the deaf and hearing impaired.

“One of our regular beneficiaries is Edon Place Domestic and Family Violence Centre,” Jas said.

“We provide personal packs of toiletries to assist residents who may arrive without even bare essentials.”

To raise funds for Edon Place and other local causes, Jas said the next next fundraiser would include a bus trip to Eumundi Markets and Montville on Saturday, 18 May.

“This is a fantastic day with a morning at the markets and a chance to browse the craft shops and eateries of Montville in the afternoon,” she said.

Tickets cost $100.
