With State Of Origin just around the corner, both teams will be named after this round.
That gives guys that are in the mix the opportunity to put their hand up, for their respective states and give selectors something to think about.
Also Cooper Cronk calls time on his illustrious career.
My match of the round is the Knights v Roosters game.
It cant get any better than playing a Friday night game at Newcastle.
Newcastle has come into form with four wins in a row, with the Roosters losing to the Broncos ending their eight game winning streak.
Finally I get to see Ponga go head to head with Tedesco.
What a battle this will be
I'm backing Ponga to out shine Tedesco in this match and have bragging rights leading into Origin. Mark my words, these two will be the fullbacks for QLD and NSW.
Cronk v Pearce shapes to be an interesting one.
Roosters letting go Pearce and bringing in Cronk because they thought Pearce wouldn't be able to deliver them a Premiership.
So I'm expecting a massive game from Pearce, against his old club and into contention for Origin. The Blues selectors will be watching this game closely.
I believe this game will come down to which forward pack dominates.
If the forwards don't give you momentum that restricts play makers ability to play on the front foot and makes it hard for your Ponga's and Tedescos to do their thing.
The Roosters rarely lose two games on the trot.
My head says the Roosters but my heart is backing the Knights. Roosters to win in a tight one, but it wont surprise me if the Knights win either.
My upset for the round is the Warriors v Broncos.
I'm going to do it, I'm going to jump on the Broncos Bandwagon again and back them to make it 3 from 3 over the Warriors in NZ.
Both teams have won back to back and is the first time Kodi Nikorima faces his old club the Broncos after leaving only a couple of weeks ago.
