If you love to kick up your heels why not rock around the clock at the 50s themed Rock ‘N' Roll Charity Dance next month to help raise funds for the local Bundaberg SES Unit.
The event, in partnership with Just Rock Bundaberg and Rockabilly Rockers Dance Studio, will be held at Avenell Heights Hall and all are invited.
Event organiser Evelyn Scott said it would be a night of footloose fever with two live bands ready to get participants in the mood to rock.
“We have Kenny and the Retro Rockers performing during the first part of the night and the C Triple Bs will take to the stage,” she said.
“There will be raffles and lots of prizes up for grabs as well as a barbecue dinner hosted by The Lions Club.”

Mrs Scott said proceeds from the night will go to “the hard-working SES team who do a lot more than people might realise”.
“They don't just help in storms and floods, they do a lot of things for our community and beyond,” she said.
“I just think they are very worthy recipients.”
Mrs Scott said the event was open to anybody, even those who didn't like to dance.
“You don't have to dance!” she said.
“Just come along and have a great time, you never know, you might win a prize or two.”
Mrs Scott said she had been teaching rockabilly dance for 22 years and said it was a passion that flowed through her veins.
“Dancing gets rid of your stress, it relaxes you,” she said.
“It's a form of expression, I love everything about it.”
The Rock ‘N' Roll Charity Dance will be held afrom 6 pm on Saturday, 6 July at Avenell Heights Hall, Thabeben Street.
Tickets cost $20 for adults and children under 10 years old are free.
