Strap on your runners and get ready for summer as Bundy’s Biggest Bootcamp is back on 15 September 2019 to showcase the personal trainers and gyms in our community.
Bundy’s Biggest Bootcamp is a fundraising initiative to inspire members of the local community to get healthy.
This year the event will be managed by GlobalCare with all funds raised going back into the Bundaberg community through a range of GlobalCare projects.
“Global Care Bundaberg is a local charity that provides emergency food hampers and low coast groceries,” Global Care's Yale Morgan said.
“Providing a hand-up for just under 10,000 people a year through the Bundaberg store on 140 Elliott Heads Road. Funds raised from this event go directly into providing low-cost hampers to those in need.”

In 2018 the event attracted 120 participants and was a great opportunity for local personal trainers and gyms to join together and promote their products and services to potential clients in a fun environment.
“It’s about a hands-on approach allowing people of varying fitness levels to try the different activities that are on offer,” event coordinator Ainsley Gatley said.
They can meet the staff from number of different health providers and hopefully then feel comfortable to take the step into a more active lifestyle.”
Nominations are now open for health and fitness providers and businesses who would like to be involved by hosting a station at the event.
