Shoppers at Hinkler Central stood and watched in awe as the performers gave an energetic mini show in the centre of the complex.

Yamato translator Melanie Koppert said the drummers were excited to be back in Bundaberg, a region which is very special to them.

“Two years ago we came to Australia for the first time and the first place we came to was Bundaberg,” she said.

“It is a special place for Yamato because it is where we started our relationship with Australia.”

Melanie said when Yamato take to the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre stage on Saturday, audiences could expect to be blown away.

“It is always difficult to put in words but the crowd can expect the same feeling as having an energy drink that is good for your health,” she said.

“When people come out of the theatre they feel uplifted, they don't want it to end.”
