Bundaberg Region women have the chance to get away from the busyness of everyday life and recharge at a Women's Rejuvenation Retreat on 23-25 August.
Deeper Essentials' Tanya McLoughlin will host the retreat at a peaceful private retreat near Baffle Creek, utilising on her experience in meditation, massage and as a Reiki Master.
Tanya will be joined by Kirsten Neller from Yoga with Kirsten who will add her expertise and knowledge through offering a yoga session to attendees.
As well as having the opportunity to indulge in massage and enjoy the tranquil setting, women can learn practical meditation techniques and yoga that they can apply to their everyday life.
“We all live in a very busy and stressful world, often we get so busy we forget to take time out for ourselves,” Tanya said.
“For women, just balancing work, home, family is hard enough, so often they don't get time to focus on themselves.
“No wonder research has found women are more likely to have anxiety then men, in fact one in three women according to beyondblue have anxiety at various times of their lives.”
Rejuvenation important in day-to-day life
Tanya said the rejuvenation retreat would give women a chance to recharge.
“On the weekend I'll be hosting meditation workshops so everyone who attends can learn how to apply simple meditation to their everyday lives,” she said.
“It's so important that we all get this time.
“There will also be a yoga session and I'll be offering my decade plus experience as a massage therapist and Reiki Master to the women who attend”
Women can attend for the whole weekend or one overnight or even a day visit and there are various accommodation options including private rooms.
Nutritious vegetarian homemade meals are included as part of the rejuvenation retreat package.
