Singer Anita Ree will launch her new album at Oodies Cafe tonight.

There are eleven tracks on Anita Ree's new album “Not Love Songs” which will be performed at a special event at Oodies Cafe tonight.

It's an album of stories written by Anita plus a cover of an iconic Slim Dusty song written by the inspiring Joy McKean.

Anita said her latest album was about people, places, Australian life and dogs.

With influences coming from all kinds of music including old Australian country, Steve Earle and many other songwriters, Anita said she loved songs that told a story.

Entertaining audiences with her original songs, Anita is inspired by amazing songwriters and the things she sees on her travels around this great country and in everyday life.

“Tonight you will hear some great Aussie stories and yarns while having a relaxed fun night,” she said.

The future for Anita holds more writing, travelling and singing songs about Australia, the people she meets, places she visits and the adventures that await.

Anita Ree loves engaging with her audiences and getting the opportunity to share pictures of the great country she loves that people may not know about otherwise.

This will be a night to remember and well worth getting involved.
