If there’s one lot of family members who are loving people working and studying from home it’s pets – and headspace Bundaberg have come up with a fun way to show how much they’re loved with the #bundypetsonshow competition.

headspace Bundabeg are running a Bundy Pets On Show competition, where people can show off their pets at home – and have the chance to win some prizes.

Community and Youth Engagement Officer Cristel Simmonds and the headspace Bundaberg Youth Engagement Committee came up with the fun idea.

“We always have and always will love our pets at headspace, so it was an obvious choice to put them in the spotlight,” Cristel said.

“We wanted to create a sense of community, some smiles and a chance to show off our loved ones online.

“While we are all at home more our animal friends are loving the extra human connection.

“They are also a great support and a good friend for many people and we wanted a way to show just how much they’re treasured.”

Simple but fun concept

The concept is simple.

People can post a photo of their pet on Instagram and/or Facebook, including their pet’s name and using the hashtag #bundypetsonshow.

The competition will run until 30 April.

All entries using the hashtag #bundypetsonshow from both social channels will go into a random draw.

All prizes will be drawn on Thursday 30 April with winners announced online.

Prizes will be available to pick up at headspace Bundaberg or delivered via post and include a $50 gift voucher from North Bundaberg Vet Surgery, four Hydrobath vouchers from East Bundaberg Veterinary Hospital, Alowishus Delicious vouchers, and headspace merchandise.

“We’re looking forward to seeing lots of photos of people’s beloved pets – whether it’s a cat, dog, bird, fish, horse, lizard, mouse or pet pig,” Cristel said.

“While we are all at home more, and online more, let’s all get to know the beautiful pets we have in our lives.”
