Boisterous Bear the golden retriever cross staffy is available for adoption at Red Collar Rescue.
At one-year-old, Bear is an excitable fun-loving older pup who loves people, loves his toys, and above all else loves combining the two.
Aptly called Bear, he is a medium-large dog weighing 25kg.
Bear inherited all the best traits of a golden retriever and is gentle and trustworthy. Living up to the golden retriever reputation, he is also boisterous and his weight sometimes get the best of him when he throws himself around while playing.
He can get along well with other dogs but does have boundaries if they get too rough or rude. It’s for that reason that a female of similar size would be ideal for him as a companion.
While Bear can be standoffish with strangers at first, once he gets to know you and you get the lick of approval, you’ll become his best friend for life.
