Christmas on Bauble Street is an exciting new event which will see guests dining in domes .

A unique dining experience is the next exciting 12 Days of Christmas event to be launched with tickets on sale Thursday for Christmas on Bauble Street.

In celebration of the festive season Bourbong Street will be aglow with the twinkle of fairy lights with a focus on Buss Park where large “bauble” domes will host diners.

Serving between December 2-6 and 9-13, guests will be greeted by wait staff and escorted to their festively adorned bauble.

Bundaberg Regional Council events portfolio spokesperson Cr John Learmonth said each dome seated between four and eight people, requiring group bookings.

“Christmas on Bauble Street guests will be wined and dined with a three-course meal in their private bauble,” Cr Learmonth said.

“This exclusive event will see diners enjoy meals specifically designed for this event by local chefs, savoured by the twinkle of fairy lights.”

He said the domes were a new initiative that would start appearing at more Council events.

“Christmas on Bauble Street is the very first event where these domes will be used but we expect similar experiences will be available at all major Council events in future,” he said.

“The COVID-19 pandemic may have forced us to deliver events very differently but it has also necessitated the development of creative ideas which means we now have unique events like this one to offer to our local community.”

Christmas on Bauble Street will be held between December 2 and 13 with two seatings per night from 5.30pm to 7pm and 7.30pm to 9pm.

Tickets are $75 per person and include a three-course meal. Wine, champagne and select beers are also available for purchase at the time of booking.

Group bookings are required with the various baubles seating four, six and eight diners respectively.

Tickets for Christmas on Bauble Street go on sale at midday on Thursday, 19 November. To book head to whatsonbundaberg.com.au.

This event has received funding through the Regional Tourism Bushfire Recovery grants program, an Australian Government bushfire recovery initiative.
