Carbon Group in Bundaberg is joining forces with Australian software companies WorkGuru.io and Tanda to host a free educational event for local business owners.

The event aims to help local businesses, with a focus on topics that will help the community’s many manufacturers, fabricators, engineers, and builders.

“It’s an exciting and rare opportunity to be able help multiple businesses at once,” Jesse from Carbon Group said.

“Events like this are a great way to share information with the business community here in Bundaberg and to grow together.”

WorkGuru co-founder Michael Davis said regional communities could often be forgotten by city-based companies.

“We’re keen to do better,” he said.

“There’s so many great businesses in the region that contribute to local jobs and the economy, and it’s great to give back by helping them to manage their projects more efficiently.”

The event will cover a wide array of topics including an update on regulatory compliance requirements, Instant Asset Write Off, R&D incentives, new Fair Work Rules, and some tips to improve business process and profitability.

A panel discussion will also provide an opportunity for business owners and managers to ask questions about what matters to them specifically.

The breakfast masterclass will be on Tuesday, 20 April, running from 8.30am to 11.30am at The Waves Sports Club, Bundaberg.

Business owners and managers can register to attend at workguru.io/roadshow
