Children enjoying the new Kookaburra Estate Park playground will be better protected from harsh UV rays thanks to shade sail construction recently completed in the area.
Bundaberg Regional Council closed the playground in May while the shade sail installation took place.
The area was highlighted for the shade sail construction due to no natural shade occurring from nearby trees.
The park was constructed last year as part of Bundaberg Regional Council’s Parks Capital Works Program for 2019 – 2020 and features swings, a climbing wall and three slides.
