The super show was held in Brisbane with members of the local Bundaberg Four Wheel Drive Club in attendance.

Members of the Bundaberg Four Wheel Drive Club recently made the trek to Brisbane for the 52nd Queensland Caravan, Camping and Touring Super Show.

The event featured caravans, motor homes, campervans, camper trailers, off road recreational vehicles and 4WD’s, along with an assortment of accessories to complete any package.

Around 350 individual exhibitors displayed their products and services promoting them to over 50,000 people who visited the show during the six days it ran for.

There are over 450,000 registered caravans and recreational vehicles in Australia today and an estimated 15,000 Australians on an extended road holiday at any one time.

Caravanning and camping is the largest single segment of tourism in Australia and due to restricted overseas travel has had a massive boom in recent times.

Highlights at the show included outback adventure operators, exotic camping destination data, plus up-to- date information for the big trip around Australia, free holiday park information and guides.

Tourism and technical seminars where presenters provided you with everything you need to hit the road from visiting holiday destinations and the latest towing safety technology to tips and tricks for living full time on the road with a young family.

Industry experts from Vision RV, TJM, Getabout Training, MSA 4×4 products and Hard Korr Campers conducted daily workshops to help you tackle off road terrain on the purposely built off road towing test track, a first-time new feature.

The weights and towing master classes explained the intricacies of weight distribution, how to hitch and unhitch safely to make the towing experience safer, comfortable, and enjoyable.

There were plenty of caravans on show at the event.

There was plenty of free entertainment on offer, camp oven demos and loads of family friendly activities for the kids.

The one stop shop for all things caravanning and camping gets better each year.

If you are looking to upgrade, buy your first van or just like to see what’s on offer, the show is the place to be, with next years event already being planned to be bigger and better.
