Local couple launch building franchise

Nelson and Amy Plowman from Hotondo Homes in Bundaberg

With more than 20 years’ experience under their belt, Amy and Nelson Plowman are opening the doors to their new Hotondo Homes franchise in Bundaberg.

Building homes across the Bundaberg Region, the pair said they prided themselves on quality craftsmanship and put family at the heart of everything they do.

“I grew up in Bundaberg and Nelson’s family have lived and farmed here for generations,” Amy said.

“We were so happy to return to our roots here five years ago, and we’re really proud to now be raising our own family and running our own business here.”

Nelson said he was proud to be associated with the Hotondo Homes franchise, delivering personalised service with a commitment to working closely with clients.

“We recognise that building a new home is often one of the largest financial investments a person will make in their lifetime, so we’re committed to helping our clients achieve exactly what they want,” Nelson said.

The team is also passionate about supporting the community in Bundaberg and are a proud sponsor of the Across the Waves Football Club.

“It’s incredibly important to us to be able to give back to our community as well as use local suppliers and trades,” Nelson said.

“At Hotondo Homes we’re very big on family and every client will be treated like family and not just another number,” Amy said.

The team is holding an event on Saturday, June 26 from 9.30am-1:30pm to celebrate the official opening of their Sales and Selections Centre, located at 1/38 Princess St, Bundaberg.

The event will offer plenty of family fun including prizes and giveaways, kids activities, hot food and drinks.

Established in 1979, Hotondo Homes has over 60 new home builders situated in all parts of Australia.
