The ever-growing Johanna Boulevard precinct will add another store to its Kensington location after a development application for Sydney Tools was recently approved.
The proposal, by Baywater Holding Pty Ltd, will be situated at 20 Johanna Boulevard, filling the vacant lot between Bunnings Warehouse and the Boulevard Lodge.
Sydney Tools is a family-owned company that was established in 2001 and now operates 51 stores across Australia.
The hardware store will be open from 7.30 am to 5 pm seven days a week and 51 car spaces have been included in the design.
According to the development application, Sydney Tools will employ six to 12 staff at its Johanna Boulevard site.
News of it's approval comes as another well-known hardware store, Total Tools, opened in the area.
