Federal Member for Hinkler Keith Pitt has called on exporters in the Bundaberg Region to nominate for the Australian Export Awards to be recognised for the outstanding contribution they are making to business and the community.
The 59th Australian Export Awards will showcase Australian export businesses succeeding across 13 categories, with the 2021 Australian Exporter of the Year chosen from the 13 category winners.
“From one person working from home to large organisations, there are exporters in Hinkler who are successful, innovative and resilient and they should be celebrated,” he said.
“Trade supports one in five Australian jobs and foreign investment supports one in 10.
“These awards recognise the substantial contribution our exporters and investors make to the nation’s economy and to the Hinkler community.
“I urge Hinkler businesses to nominate for an award so we can recognise you for the work that you do and the jobs you support.”
Nominations for the awards are open now and close on 6 August.
Winners will be announced in November.
