Work is underway in Wharf Street, Buxton to upgrade the turnaround.

Bundaberg Regional Council will be upgrading the turnaround area in Wharf Street, Buxton, with works to be completed in five weeks.

The upgrade is planned to commence early August 2021 and will be undertaken weekdays, during the hours of 6.30 am and 5 pm.

During construction, sections of the road will be closed, subject to traffic management measures and will have the appropriate signage to guide motorists through or around the site.

The site supervisor will liaise with directly affected residents to facilitate property access during construction.

Bundaberg Regional Council is aware of the inconvenience construction work causes and thanks residents and road users in advance for their patience and co-operation.

The Wharf Street, Buxton turnaround area upgrade project is a joint initiative of Bundaberg Regional Council and the Queensland Government.
