Built from a passion for beauty, Bundaberg local Eboni Budd has just opened Inked Elegance in the CBD, providing cosmetic tattooing and non-laser tattoo removal from her salon in Rounds Arcade.
Eboni opened her business in September after nine years working in retail and said she was thrilled to have found a niche market to focus on.
“I have always loved makeup but just couldn't see myself making a career out of it,” she said.
“I wanted something else, something more so looked into multiple courses in different beauty sectors but just was never fully interested in that either.
“I started doing a lot of research into becoming a lash technician then somehow started looking into cosmetic tattooing.”
Eboni said after finding out more about the artistry, she realised cosmetic tattooing was something she wanted to pursue, so gained her accreditation earlier this year.
“I do brows, lips and eyeliner and customise everything from shapes and colours to specifically suit the client,” she said.
“I also provide non-laser tattoo removal.”
Eboni said she loved everything about cosmetic tattooing, from the way it could transform a look to the trust process between her and each client.
“What I love most about what I do is that people put their trust and faith in me to tattoo their face,” she said.
“It is the best feeling seeing my clients' reactions when they first see their new tattoo.
“It is a challenging but such a rewarding job and I am loving meeting all the beautiful faces that have come though so far, I cannot wait for more.”
Inked Elegance is located upstairs in Rounds Arcade, 1a/54 Bourbong Street, and is open Monday to Friday from 10.30 am to 9 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm.
