The Bundaberg Bowls Club competed well on Saturday defeating both Woodgate and Moore Park Beach. On Sunday the Team lost in the Semi-Final against Bargara at Woodgate. Well done for a fine effort against some of the best teams in the District.

Tuesday 12th October: Open Pairs 50/50 Day where 50 percent of the green fees is returned as prizemoney – 1pm start. Names in by 12pm, green fees paid by 12.45pm
Wednesday night 13th October: Scroungers – 6.30pm start, names before 6.00pm. This is a fun game of singles similar to consistency singles, played in groups of 3 or 4 per rink over 12 ends. Green fees are $5, and 50 percent of green fees will be returned as prizemoney. Everyone welcome.
Thursday night 14th October: 6.30pm Bowl under lights and enjoy a fun filled night with a chance at the “Pick the Joker Jackpot” which will be $373+ this week. Visitors and those who want to try bowls for the first time will be made very welcome. Names before 6.00pm, start at 6.30pm.
Friday 15th October: Open Pairs – $200 Prizemoney Guaranteed. 1.00pm start – Names before 12.00pm. Green fees paid by 12.45pm. Plus the Jackpot will be $320.

CLUB NEWS
CLUB BISTRO: The CRACKERJACK Bistro is now open for business. There is a new menu and new pricing with new opening hours so come along and test your taste buds and support the new management. The Bistro hours are as follows – Monday – Closed, Tuesday 11.00am -4.00pm, Wednesday 11.00am-2.30pm & then 4.30pm- 8.00pm, Thursday 4.30pm-8.00pm, Friday 11.00am – 2.30pm & 4.30pm – 8.00pm, Saturday 10.00am – 4.30pm and Sunday – Closed. Check out their Facebook page “Crackerjack Bistro” for menu details and pricing or next time you are at the club. Obviously, there is now a lunchtime menu and opportunities for takeaways.
Entertainment for Friday night 15th October will be Billy Guy and Friday 22nd October will be Sticky Rock, so come along and enjoy a meal and some live entertainment at your ‘friendly’ club.
