Coffee at Kelly’s continues to grow

Kelly Banno is getting ready to open Kelly's Coffee on Maryborough Street.

A new Coffee at Kelly’s location is set to open in Bundaberg in coming weeks.

It will be the fourth Coffee at Kelly's location opened by Bundaberg’s Kelly Banno who is continuing to expand the successful chain.

The new café, which is located at South Side Corner on Maryborough Street, will bring back the juice bar offering as well as the service and food selection the existing stores are known for.

Kelly said after Covid, she hadn’t given much thought to opening another location, but when the opportunity presented itself, she found it hard to turn down.

“To be honest, I wasn’t expecting to open another café so soon,” Kelly said.

“I thought it would be a while off but something in my heart keeps tugging and a little place popped up opposite Bundaberg State High School.

“The location felt right so I thought, let’s do it!”

While it is a brand-new location, she said the service and offering will remain the same including fresh food and good coffee.

“I intend to make this new café a copy of what my previous style has been like,” Kelly said.

“This means fresh, homemade and a playful ever-changing menu, roasting good coffee, awesome customer service and something that will appeal to both locals and tourists.

“Kelly’s will be a dine-in and takeaway café with a breakfast and lunch menu and fresh fast food to takeaway for anyone passing by,” she said.

“The café will also be a stockist for milk and bread, baked goods, hot chips and the juice bar will be returning.”

Coffee at Kelly’s is hoping to open in the coming weeks at 1/46 Maryborough Street, opposite Bundaberg State High School.
