Reminder: Rate notices arriving soon

Rates notices will be sent to inboxes and mailboxes from next week.

Bundaberg Regional Council is reminding residents that rate notices for the half year from 1 January 2022 to 30 June 2022 will be arriving in mailboxes and inboxes soon.

The notices are scheduled to be posted to ratepayers on Monday 31, January while eRate notices and BPay View will be issued electronically on Wednesday 2, February 2022. 

The due date for the payment of rates will be Wednesday, 8 March, 2022.

Council offers a number of payment options including making a payment online at www.bundaberg.qld.gov.au/pay, direct debit, BPAY, internet banking, payment at any Australia Post outlet and by phone or mail.

Alternatively, you can pay in person at any of Council’s Service Centres located at 190 Bourbong Street, Bundaberg; Shop 3, 15 See Street, Bargara; 45 Churchill Street, Childers and 4 Dear Street, Gin Gin.

Anyone experiencing difficulty in paying their rates is encouraged to use the following link to complete an online rates payment commitment request upon receipt of your rate notice: www.bundaberg.qld.gov.au/rates-property/difficulty-paying-rates

If a suitable payment commitment can’t be finalised using the online form, please contact the friendly rates team on 1300 883 699 to confidentially discuss payment options as soon as possible
