Rockaria The ELO Experience is a show that will deliver a captivating live concert recreating the sounds of Jeff Lynne’s The Electric Light Orchestra at the Moncrieff this month.

The show will see the band perform a number of classic hits including Livin’ Thing, Don’t Bring Me Down, Sweet Talkin Woman, Telephone Line, Rockaria, Evil Woman, Roll Over Beethoven, Strange Magic and many more

The groups lead singer Whalen Hughes said the concert would be unforgettable, featuring both a seven-piece band and one of Australia’s finest violinists.

“Rockaria – The ELO Experience is a captivating live concert recreating the unforgettable sound and harmonies of English rock band The Electric Light Orchestra,” Whalen said.

“We also include a few of Jeff Lynne’s hits from his days with The Travelling Wilburys.

“The show features a seven piece band with one of Australia’s finest Violinist Mr Ian Cooper.”

Whalen said if you were a fan of the Electric Light Orchestra, this show was definitely one not to miss.

“ELO and their music have been very popular on Australian radio since the 70’s and they still play a lot of their music,” he said.

“It’s great to see people enjoying the songs and music from their youth, and we often get comments about how this show brings back so many memories for people.”

The group haven’t performed a show in Bundaberg before and said they were looking forward to visiting the region.

“This is the first time the show has played in Bundaberg, last year we played the Brolga Theatre in Maryborough with great success which we are also playing again this year and have added Bundaberg to the tour,” he said.

“We’ve been asked to play Bundaberg by fans of the show, people who’ve heard about our show through social media and people who love the music ELO.

“There’s a lot of ELO fans out there.
