Green Solutions is calling on students, teachers and schools in the area to learn more about environmental sustainability through the newly-launched program.

A Sustainable School’s initiative by local company Green Solutions is encouraging the region’s youth to go green and help save the planet.

The green waste composting facility is calling on students, teachers and schools in the area to learn more about environmental sustainability through the newly-launched program.

Nathan Freeman, Green Solutions Wide Bay General Manager, said making rich healthy compost out of green waste and returning it to the earth was one of the best ways to heal the planet and sustain the environment for generations to come.

He said when local school kids went to Green Solutions Wide Bay they saw first-hand how the technology-driven facility made premium compost full of microbial activity for healthy soil biodiversity.

“We are passionate about composting at Green Solutions Wide Bay and created the Green Solutions Sustainable Schools Initiative to make sure kids and their teachers can get their hands dirty while learning about their own environmental footprints and how to do something positive to restore them,” Nathan said.
