The second stage of the Wattle Street Sewerage Pump Station upgrade in Thabeban is due to commence to renew damaged infrastructure while upgrading access to the station.
Bundaberg Regional Council's Water Services team will complete the works during August and September, from Monday to Friday between 6 am and 5 pm.
The upgrade includes:
- Site establishment
- Demolition of the existing top slab
- Extension of existing valve pit structure
- Installation of a new top slab for the station
- Clean up and site re-instatement
The sewer system of the area is not expected to be affected by these works.
