Honey is available for adoption from RSPCA Bundaberg.

Honey is a five-year-old bullmastiff cross boxer who is looking for her new home, available for adoption from RSPCA Bundaberg.

Although she is a big girl, weighing in at 36kgs, she is very sweet and would be a great companion for adults or a family with older children.

Honey she came into the RSCPA shelter wary of new people, sights and sounds but she has turned a corner and now feels safe and secure in her environment.

She loves her cuddles and may believe at times she is a lap dog, despite her size, and she loves attention.

Honey will be best suited to a house where she is the only dog, preferring the company of people.

Her interactions with other dogs will need strict management, and high, secure fencing is essential.

The fencing will be needed to reduce her visual line to the street to help her remain calm.

Honey loves to go for a walk, with it recommended to start in a quiet and calm area away from other dogs in yards and slowly build up the trust and the relationship.

You will also need to become an expert at providing plenty of mental enrichment activities to keep her engaged and not frustrated or bored.

She comes desexed, microchipped and health checked while also up to date with all vaccinations, worming and flea treatments.

If you think that home could be with you, please apply online and visit the shelter to meet her.
