Set in the flower-adorned walls of Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery, guests will enjoy cocktails, canapes plus plenty of glitz and glam when Karda-Nay hosts the upcoming Spring Fling event.
The local entertainer will take the lead on an artist panel, speaking with Gallery Director Rebecca McDuff and artist Siobhan Lowth about the latest gallery offerings in Bloom and Scrutiny.
Karda-Nay said the event would also feature fantastic entertainment throughout the evening.
“People can expect a classy evening with some delicious cocktails and canapés, including entertainment from myself, as well as a fun but in-depth artist talk with some amazing artists,” Karda-Nay said.
“I have been involved within the arts community in Bundaberg for years, so once I started doing drag I was approached by the gallery team wanting to do an event at the gallery with Karda-Nay and this is what we have come up with!
“I always love attending events at the gallery so I’m excited to be able to host one.”
Karda-Nay is a drag queen and performer based in Bundaberg and regularly hosts bingo and trivia events at Oodies.
Now, Karda-Nay is encouraging the community to attend the art gallery's Spring Fling.
“It is going to be a fabulous evening, it’s such a great way to get out, have a few drinks with friends and be able to view some art and to then hear from some of the artists,” Karda-Nay said.
“These artists are brilliant, and I am so excited to see these new exhibitions.
“I am looking forward to chatting to the artists as well as being able to mingle with all the guests attending.
“My outfit is also very unique, and I cannot wait to share it with everyone!”
