There will be NO SOCIAL BOWLS on Friday 18th November due to a Charity Day being held at ATW.
TICKETS in our Christmas Raffle are selling well. If you haven't already donated your $10 towards the hampers, and would like to, Lyn Murphy is still accepting donations.
CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON AND PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES:
Our annual luncheon at Across the Waves Club, Miller Street, will be held on Friday 9th December. This year we are having a catered Christmas lunch. The Ladies Bowls Club will be subsidising the cost by $10 for each member. Please put your name on the sheet for catering purposes.

Bargara Mixed 8’s Team came Third in the State Finals at Tweed Heads on the 3rd and 4th November, Well Done. Bargara Men’s No.1 Pennant Side were unsuccessful in the State Pennant Finals at Tweed Heads on the 5th and 6th November again at Tweed Heads. Congratulations to all the Players involved a great effort against the State’s best. A Big Week for Bargara Bowls Club.

Tuesday 8th November: $200 Bonza Pairs– Open Pairs (Men’s, Ladies, Mixed) – 1pm start, names in by 12pm, green fees paid by 12.45pm.
Wednesday 9th November: “Scroungers” Singles – this is a fun game of singles similar to Consistency Single where points are allocated to the 4 closest bowls to the jack. Games are played over 12 ends with no driving allowed. Names in by 6.15pm with games starting at 6.30pm. Green fees are now $8.00 with 50 percent of the green fees being returned as prizemoney. All ability levels welcome. Come along for a fun night out.
Thursday 10th November: ‘Thirsty Thursday’ Open Pairs – 3.00pm start – Names in by 2.30pm. Free drink (Sponsored) included in green fees. Games will finish at 5.00pm with 2 random lucky draws as prizes.
Thursday night 10th November: 6.30pm Bowl under lights and enjoy a fun filled night with a chance at the “Pick the Joker Jackpot” which will be $20 this week. Visitors and those who want to try bowls for the first time will be made very welcome. Names before 6.00pm, start at 6.30pm. CLUB NEWS
Club Opening hours are – Monday – Closed, Tuesday 10am – 5.30pm, Wednesday 10am – 9pm, Thursday 11am – 9pm, Friday 10am – 9.30pm, Saturdays 10am – 6pm (10pm for functions), Sunday Bowls Days 9am – 2pm.
The Goose Club raffle will be drawn on Friday at 7.00pm. The member’s draw is now at $370 so come along, have a meal and a few drinks with the chance to win some great cash and prizes.
The entertainment for this Friday night the will be ‘Bradz Rock N Rhythm’ and the following Friday the 18th November live music will be supplied by ‘Old Habits’

Perfect day on the greens today, premier event was the final of the Mens Triples as well as social games and some visitors from Stanthorpe.
Mens Triples Final:
A hard fought game between Team Cornish and Team Strano.
All seasoned bowlers, however the win to Team Cornish was the first Championship win here at Woodgate for all three bowlers.
