Shift Automotive’s annual charity car and bike run is back for another year, with the community encouraged to support the event which raises much needed funds for Angels Community Group.

The event’s proceeds will go towards helping local families in need to have an extra special Christmas.

The charity car and bike run will take place on Sunday 11 December starting at 7 am at Shift Automotive, 1 Turner Street, before departing at 8 am for the Elliott Heads Foreshore.

The event is family friendly, with time to admire the best cars and bikes from across the region while also having the option to donate to the cause.

There will be the opportunity to win prizes donated from not only Shift Automotive, but from other businesses across the Bundaberg Region.

Shift Automotive’s owners Brad and Kirstin Trimble said the event was a fantastic opportunity to bring the community together and support those in need.

“Everyone is welcome to attend, you do not need a special car to attend,” they said.

“We love this event as we can not only admire what we love most but also get together with a bunch of like minds from our community but to help our locals for Christmas.

“The last few years have been a struggle for many and giving back to our community brings us so much joy for this time of year.”

There will be prizes for Christmas-themed best-dressed person, car and bike on the day.

Hot beverages, fresh donuts, ice cream and a sausage sizzle will all be on offer at Elliot Heads foreshore where the cars and bikes will meet after the ride.
