Students from TAFE Queensland’s Bundaberg campus gathered to celebrate the culmination of their studies and the beginning of their careers last week.
Sixty local graduates descended on Brothers Sports Club to proudly don their caps and gowns and receive recognition for their hard work, determination and commitment to their future careers.
TAFE Queensland General Manager (East Coast region) Ana Rodger said she was always impressed that Bundaberg consistently produced quality graduates.
“Each and every one of our Bundaberg graduates have worked so hard and invested a significant amount of time in their studies this year so it’s an absolute privilege to be able to celebrate this special moment with our graduating students and pay tribute to them and their families,” Ms Rodger said.
“There is no greater reward than seeing our students complete their studies, and we are honoured to not only have played such a significant role in their journeys, but also to be able to share this memorable day with them.”
Students received certificate and diploma qualifications across a variety of study areas including beauty, business administration, nursing, education support and early childhood, which they will be able to use to contribute to the local community.
“We’ve seen students graduate and go on to do amazing things with the knowledge and skills they’ve learned during their time at TAFE Queensland, from becoming leaders in their field to starting their own businesses,” Ms Rodger said.
“No matter what career our students choose to pursue, their contribution is invaluable to the region and it fills me with immense pride to see them triumph.”
Enrolments are now open for 2023.
