The Bundaberg Business Breakfast is part of Council’s participation in Business Queensland’s Small Business Month, celebrating the vital contribution they make to the community.

Tickets have been released for the next monthly instalment of the Bundaberg Regional Council Business Breakfast which will focus on the opportunities available to small businesses.

The event is part of Council’s participation in Business Queensland’s Small Business Month, celebrating the vital contribution they make to the community.

The breakfast will highlight how small businesses can use the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman (ASBFEO) to improve policies and access dispute resolution services and mental health support.

Breakfast attendees will also gain a deeper understanding of the practical side of ASBFEO to achieve better outcomes in their business.

Special guest speaker includes the Hon. Bruce Billson, ASBFEO, who will explain the mission of the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman.

He will also explain how his role and office exists to help ensure Australia is the best place to start, grow and transform as small business and family enterprise.

May Bundaberg Business Breakfast

When: Thursday 18 May at 7 am

Where: Bundaberg Multiplex, 1 Civic Avenue (doors open from 6.30 am)

The Bundaberg Business Breakfast was created after the recent signing of the Small Business Friendly Organisation Charter by Council, the Queensland Small Business Commissioner and local chambers of commerce.

Each monthly breakfast event will have a specific theme and will be trialled for the remainder of 2023.

The aim of the events will be to assist local businesses learn from, and network with each other, along with providing a forum for businesses to get updates on various trends and opportunities available in the region.
