Relationship counsellor and author Matt Boulton is bringing his seminar, Keeping Your Cool, to the Bundaberg Civic Centre this month.
As cost-of-living pressures continue to create tension for Bundaberg families, Matt said it can be easy for tempers to reach boiling point.
Without the right tools to manage frustration, Matt believes conflict can get out of control, and relationships can be blown apart very quickly.
His seminar, Keeping Your Cool, will talk on how applying a few small changes can make a massive difference to relational happiness.
“Once people are given the right tools to stay calm and work things out, it often amazes me how rapidly they can start rebuilding peace, trust and intimacy,” Matt said.
The author of Changing Tools and the Circuit Breaker™ program will be coming to the Bundaberg Civic Centre on Monday June 17 to lift the lid on some of the best tools and strategies he’s been sharing with couples for over 20 years to bring lasting change.
“30 years ago, my own temper and subsequent abuse caused me a long and miserable separation from the woman I loved,” he said.
“The things I had to learn at that time changed everything, and these days it’s such a pleasure to be able to pay it forward to other people.”
Matt’s 90 minute Keeping Your Cool community seminar has been generously funded by local business, churches and Bundaberg Regional Council, with a shared goals of reducing family conflict and building a stronger community together.
The relaxed event begins at 7 pm with coffee and snacks, and everyone is welcome.
Tickets available here, but numbers are limited.
