A Bundaberg man held the only division one winning entry nationally in Powerball draw 1503 on Thursday, taking home the total $10 million jackpot.
As he held a PowerHit entry, he also scored division two 19 times, bolstering his overall win to $10,313,821.10.
The man said he felt like crying after the enormity of his win was confirmed by an official from The Lott.
“Normally I would be in bed by now, but I was up watching the football,” he said.
“Mate, I’ve got tears in my eyes.
“This is just lifechanging.”
The man said he would seek advice from a professional and invest the money carefully.
“We’re not flash people,” he said.
“We’ll invest it wisely and sit back and enjoy life.
“My wife and I have worked hard all our lives, but this means we can retire early now.
“We’re not going to work anymore.
“I’ll get advice from a professional.
“I’m not going to be one of those people who lose it all.
“All I’ve ever wanted is to not stress about money and this means we won’t have to worry about that anymore.
“I feel like I won’t sleep tonight.
“I think I’ll just be talking to the missus for the next couple of hours.”
