Clients can attend workshops and events including Community Care Social Support gatherings every Wednesday and Friday.

While ICC is unable to take on new clients currently, community members looking to navigate My Aged Care are invited to reach out to the team for support.

Charge Up! project

The Childers Neighbourhood Centre now has an energy educator available to help locals looking to save on electricity bills by improving their energy efficiency, thanks to the Charge Up! project.

Residents can find out more at a pop-up stall at the Childers IGA on 12 May or attend the information session and workshop at the Childers Neighbourhood Centre on 10 June with more dates to follow.

One-on-one sessions are also available on request and more information can be found on the project page.
