An area of the Kalkie boat ramp carpark, located on McGills Road, has been cordoned off due to significant erosion at the river’s edge.
The boat ramp and remaining car park area remains accessible, with appropriate signage installed to indicate the hazard.
Anyone accessing the area should remain clear of the barricaded area.
Bundaberg Regional Council is undertaking engineering assessments to identify a solution.
