Ladies ‘Rose Bowl’ Fours Carnival – fourteen teams contested the ‘Rose Bowl’ in gusty westerly winds with the green running at a good pace.
Overall winners: with 2 Wins +18 ends were M.Carney, J.Marshall, B.Klaassen and R.Chandler (Moore Park Beach)
2nd Place: with 2 wins +17 ends were K.Gallagher, M.Baigne, T.Williams and J.Cannon (Bargara)
Game 1 Winners: with a +18 margin were K.Ship, M.Stillettos, K.Dawn and L.Beal (Bargara)

Championship Singles Semi-Final: Keith Whalley def Kyle Franks 25-23.
This was a very close game with Kyle leading 10-1 early in the match and leading 19-12 closer to the finish.
However, with some good draw bowls from Keith and with Kyle missing a couple of weighted shots, Keith was able to slowly peg back the deficit and scrape home 25-23.
B Grade Singles Semi-Final: Josh Gott def Glen Hayes 25-7.

Live entertainment on Friday evening will be provided by Bradz Rock N Rhythm.

Ladies B grade Singles Final: Lesley Christensen had a very hard fought win over Ann Sleep in what was a tightly contested game. 25/20.
Thanks to Daphne Brettell who was the marker for the match.
The other highlight game, the mixed pairs between Team Dowling and Team Byrnes was a clash of the Titans.
A hard fought win to Fiona and Clinton Dowling over Rhonda and Robbie Byrnes.
