Time: 11 am – 2 pm

Location: Bundaberg Recreational Precinct, 7 Kendalls Road, Bundaberg

This year’s NAIDOC theme, “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy,” is a powerful reminder that the future is shaped by the stories we share and the respect we carry forward.

It’s a celebration of those who have come before, and those rising now, strong in identity, proud in culture, and ready to share.

IWC is seeking:

Stallholders

Local businesses and organisations who want to be part of a meaningful celebration.

IWC is looking for stallholders who will offer thoughtful, family-friendly activities that reflect the spirit of NAIDOC Week, with a focus on connection, creativity and shared learning.

Whether it’s hands-on crafts, interactive displays, or engaging experiences, IWC welcomes those who want to contribute to a day that brings people together in a positive and respectful way.

Cultural contributors

IWC warmly invites members of the community to share cultural knowledge and practices that reflect the richness and diversity of First Nations cultures.

This may include:

  • dance demonstrations
  • artists offering children’s workshops or sharing the meaning behind their art
  • cultural storytelling
  • shelter-making demonstrations
  • bush tucker cooking and education
  • any experience that shares culture in ways that invite participation and understanding

Held during the school holidays, the event is an opportunity to inspire the next generation through storytelling, creativity and cultural pride, creating an environment where everyone feels welcome to learn, connect, and celebrate.

There is no cost to participate as a stallholder, and cultural contributors are not paid a fee —your involvement is valued as a shared contribution to community.

Space is limited, and all Expressions of Interest will be reviewed.

Selected participants will be contacted with further details to confirm involvement.

To express your interest as a stallholder, or cultural contributor, please email marketing@iwc.org.au by 15 June 2025.
