Principal Jenna Auer of Impact Community ACADEMY is featured in the latest episode of Stronger Together, a podcast hosted by Tanya O’Shea, Managing Director of IMPACT Community Services.
In the episode, Jenna discusses the unique challenges young people face today and introduces Impact ACADEMY’s approach to education, setting a new benchmark for wellbeing-focused learning in Queensland.

It’s clear that education isn’t just about grades – it’s about fostering wellbeing and resilience to help students succeed in all areas of their lives,” said Mrs O’Shea.
The conversation highlights the increasing number of students disengaging from mainstream education and how Impact ACADEMY provides a flexible, project-based curriculum tailored to the individual needs of each student.
With a focus on small class sizes, personalised learning plans, and a wellbeing-first approach, the academy offers an environment where students can grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
“Throughout the episode, I had the opportunity to explain how we’re not only focusing on academic growth but also equally supporting our students social and emotional development,” Ms Auer said.
“We’re helping them build skills for life that go beyond traditional classroom learning.
“By working closely with local organisations, we can provide a strong support network for our students, ensuring they have the resources they need to thrive both during and after they finish school.”
As Impact ACADEMY continues to grow, plans are underway to expand work experience opportunities, vocational pathways, and resilience-building programs for students.
