The Bundaberg Caledonian Pipe Band, in collaboration with Saint Stella Presents, is proud to present Highland Tattoo – an afternoon of music, song, and dance celebrating Celtic culture and community spirit.
Set to take place from 2 pm on Saturday 10 May at the Shalom Performing Arts Precinct, the concert will bring together a dynamic line up including soprano Suellen Cusack, gifted violinist Kate Hardisty, the Rum City Dancers, Encore Dance Studio, and, of course, the iconic Bundaberg Caledonian Pipe Band.
“This show is the heart and soul of who we are,” Pipe Major Kyle Myers said.
“Highland Tattoo is more than a performance – it’s a celebration of heritage, connection, and the incredible community that surrounds us.”
As the band’s annual concert and major fundraiser, this year’s event will continue the tradition of showcasing the talent and spirit that defines the Bundaberg Caledonian Pipe Band.
A not-for-profit organisation, the band relies on community support to fund travel, maintain uniforms and instruments, and represent Bundaberg at events throughout the region.
The band proudly performs at major community occasions including ANZAC Day services, the Childers Festival, the Pageant of Lights, and many more.
Kyle said the group was excited to take the stage.
“This is a huge moment for us.
“We’ve been rehearsing for months and can’t wait to share the stage with such talented guests.
“The energy and emotion of the pipes, drums, and dancers always make it a truly unforgettable show.”
Whether you’re a long-time supporter or experiencing the magic of Celtic culture for the first time, Highland Tattoo promises an unforgettable afternoon for all.
