Head to the Metro Hotel Thursday 19 June and enjoy a night of music and trivia hosted by Bundaberg Music Promotions and Bundy Gig Guide to raise money for Relay for Life.

What is the purpose of this fundraiser?
The night is a fundraiser for Relay for Life, which of course is a well-established organisation, a global volunteer driven movement and the world’s largest peer to peer fundraising event for cancer.
This is Bundaberg Music Promotions second year participating in this event, and the second time that I will be arranging all the music for the day.
We are aiming to reach over $1000 on the night, with raffles and through our cheating accountant – where the more you pay the more helpful he is during the trivia rounds.
What activities are planned as part of the fundraiser?
There will be live music performed by Miss Lee from 5 pm and at 6 pm team registrations will open for five rounds of music trivia.
A fun game will also be held in the middle of the trivia rounds with a prize and some extra points up for grabs for your trivia team.
Prizes for the night include two tickets to Choirboys, The music of Peter Allen, The Beach Boys Experience, The Australian Rock Tribute Show, Sounds of Rock Hervey Bay, hampers and petrol vouchers.

Who are the key partners involved in this fundraiser?
The prize for the night is a local business voucher hamper, which currently includes 15 vouchers from each of the following businesses:

The local business community, as shown above, have been amazing.
This has all come together through word of mouth which is even more amazing that they all want to assist in supporting a night like this.
If there are any other businesses that want to donate a voucher for our hamper that would be amazing, we are happy to do two hampers if we get any more vouchers.
Are there any success stories from past fundraisers that highlight the difference this initiative has made?
Through the Bundy Gig Guide we have had several music trivia nights.
All up raising over $10,000 for charities like Jeremiah House, Partners in Care, Give me 5 for kids, Angels Community Group and last year for Relay for Life.
What message would you like to share with the community about the importance of this cause and how can people stay updated on this fundraiser?
Sadly, cancer seems to affect us all, either directly or through someone we love.
The more we can do for this cause, the more life we can give others.
