Feast your eyes on the 2025 Taste Bundaberg Festival program, out now with a smorgasbord of tasty events to tempt every appetite.

Taste Bundaberg Festival, on from 5 to 14 September, celebrates the best fresh produce and dining experiences the region has to offer.

Bundaberg Region Mayor Helen Blackburn said it was exciting to see hosts offer new events in this year’s program, as well as the return of popular favourites.

“Taste Bundaberg Festival is always a highlight on the event calendar, and this year is no different,” Mayor Blackburn said.

“There is something for everyone, from picnics and family-friendly fun days to craft brews and casual dining experiences.

“I encourage everyone to check out the program and support our local growers and dining venues.”

Taste Bundaberg Market returns to Alexandra Park on Saturday 6 September and Mayor Blackburn said it continued to be popular with the community.

“The Taste Bundaberg Market is a crowd favourite, with plenty of fresh produce, entertainment and food vendors making for a great day out.

“Guest chef Harry Butterfield, from season 16 of Masterchef, will return to the festival to inspire the region’s foodies with expert demonstrations on the cooking stage.

“Harry grew up in Bundaberg before moving to Brisbane with his family during primary school and retains close links with the region.”

Mayor Blackburn said she was looking forward to hosting the Mayor’s Ball at the Bundaberg Multiplex as a special event in this year’s festival program.

“I’m delighted that the Mayor’s Ball will be the gala event for Taste Bundaberg Festival, raising money for the Mayor’s Christmas Appeal.

“We have some fantastic entertainment lined up for a great night of dining and dancing, and of course, fabulous frocks.”

Mayor Blackburn said festival fans had a week to plan their outings before tickets go on sale.

“Tickets are on sale from 9 July, so save the date in your calendar if you are keen to grab a seat at the Taste Bundaberg Festival table.”
