Take in the sight of Visual Language

Artist Suzanne Robinson will have her Visual Language exhibition, featuring pastel and photography work, at Gin Gin Courthouse Gallery until the end of February.

Community members can take in the sights of Visual Language, a pastel and photographic display by local artist Suzanne Robinson in Gin Gin.

The Visual Language exhibition contains more than 150 pieces of art and is open to the community for the rest of February at Gin Gin Regional Courthouse Gallery.

Suzanne said she was pleased to invite the community to take in such a large exhibition.

“It really is an extensive exhibition,” she said.

“There is more than 30 years of artwork in Visual Language.

“Honestly, it’s me laying my work and my life on the line and out for everyone to see.”

With an all-embracing career in the art world, Suzanne is both president of Gin Gin Regional Courthouse Gallery and the Pastel Society of Australia.

“This would be about my 40th exhibition,” she said.

“Visual Language will be here until 1 March and then move on to the RM Centre at Eidsvold for two months.”

In 2019 Suzanne’s pastel artwork travelled to the other side of world as she took part in international art exhibition in China.

Growing up in the Queensland outback has given Suzanne a view on life she says she may have missed if she had grown up on the coast.

After her art exhibition wraps up in Gin Gin, Suzanne said she looked forward to sharing it with the Eidsvold community as Visual Language will be exhibited at the RM Williams Centre.
