4pm UPDATE: Residents near Tantitha Road may be affected by a smoke haze throughout the evening.
EARLIER: Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews are on the scene at a bushfire burning near Colvins Road, Zorzan Drive and Bella Vista Estate, Gooburrum.
Crews are working to contain the fire, which is posing no threat to property at this time.
The Rural Fire Service says seven crews are attending.
Nearby residents may be affected by a smoke haze throughout the afternoon.
If affected by smoke, residents are advised to close windows and doors and keep respiratory medications close by.
Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.
If residents are concerned their property is under threat, they are advised to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
