We love to showcase local musical talent on Bundaberg Now. Today we came across One on the Up by Craig Lamond.
One on the Up is the title track of Lamond’s debut album.
“The song is about my grandmother’s childhood growing up at a place called Dombarton, NSW,” he says on YouTube.
“Her father Poppa worked on the railway and was often heard yelling ‘one on the up!’.”
